We are looking for a Property Accountant to play a key role in our growing company. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the management of the accounts.

Main Responsibilities
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Accounting and financial statements
- Manage the full accounting cycle of a property portfolio.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Make accounting entries, monthly adjustments and year-end entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Manage final invoicing of operating costs (taxes, energy, 13th invoice, etc.) in line with leases.
- Complete monthly GST/QST returns.
Budget analysis and monitoring
- Analyze variances between actual results and approved budgets.
- Participate in preparing annual budgets and updating forecasts.
- Produce and validate financial reports and performance indicators.
- Support property managers in interpreting their results.
Management
- Ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Apply existing accounting policies and maintain internal controls.
Collaboration
- Validate financial information received from property managers and partners.
- Work in collaboration with the operations team, management and external partners.
- Maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders.
Special projects and continuous improvement
- Participate in year-end processes and external auditor requests.
- Participate in various projects linked to the optimization of accounting processes.
Skills Profile and Required Qualifications
YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Your autonomy, team spirit and organizational skills will be major assets for this position.
- Bachelor of Accounting
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in multi-entity real estate (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Hopem software (mandatory).
- Excellent command of the Office suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational, priority management and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in French (oral and written).
