Position Summary

You will be at the heart of the management and coordination of our real estate projects, planning and supervising activities related to the development and maintenance of our buildings. You will ensure the success of our construction and renovation projects, from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

  • You will develop strategic plans for the various projects, taking into account budgetary constraints and deadlines.
  • You will be responsible for estimating costs, planning and supervising work, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • You will supervise the team of project managers and the head of technical services, responsible for implementing and monitoring the work.
  • You will also be responsible for property upkeep and maintenance, implementing preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of buildings and equipment.
  • You will manage service contracts with suppliers and external service providers, while ensuring the continuous improvement of the company’s technical infrastructures.
  • Finally, you will monitor technological developments and trends in the real estate market, and propose innovative solutions to improve the energy and environmental performance of buildings. You will participate in the design and implementation of sustainable development projects. You will control expenditure and optimize the financial resources allocated to technical projects.

Skills Profile and Required Qualifications

YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in building engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in cost estimating in the construction sector.
  • LEED AP accreditation, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, an asset.

YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • In-depth knowledge of construction, facilities management and maintenance.
  • Ability to manage teams, plan and coordinate complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods and costs.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical specifications.
  • Negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating and project management software.
  • Proficiency in Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
