Maintenance Technician
Job Profile
Position Summary
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our buildings located in Brossard. Your mission will be to ensure and maintain the cleanliness and accessibility of the buildings, as well as carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, structures, and associated systems. You will also be responsible for performing minor repairs and, upon request, completing work for tenants.

Main Responsibilities
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of premises
- Maintain the interior and exterior of buildings at an exemplary level of cleanliness;
- Ensure safe access to buildings for tenants, visitors, and suppliers (access cards);
- Perform minor repairs such as replacing fluorescent lights or defective parts, adjusting heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems;
- Carry out seasonal maintenance tasks and follow-ups;
- Perform routine maintenance work such as painting and repairs of various building components (doors, door handles, flooring, faucets, etc.);
- Notify the Property Manager of any abnormalities.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment
- Ensure proper operation and smooth functioning of building electromechanical systems, and follow up on preventive maintenance and corrective work with suppliers;
- Inspect roofs, drains, and report any anomalies;
- Inspect building components and identify issues such as plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, pumps, fire alarm panels, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, windows, signage, water valves, parking signage, and roadway conditions;
- Assist with annual fire system and sprinkler inspections alongside the security team, and follow up on required corrective actions;
- Monitor the performance of the building’s smart systems (HVAC controls, camera systems, door access, lighting, irrigation), ensure updates, and coordinate with external suppliers when needed after consulting with management.
Customer service
- Respond to tenant service requests at existing office locations, including comfort complaints, water leaks, door repairs, and other maintenance needs
- Address specific requests from commercial tenants such as waste removal
Skills Profile and Required Qualifications
YOUR PERSONAL SKILLS

You have strong manual dexterity, are motivated, autonomous, and well organized. You communicate effectively and are comfortable working with clients.
You must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle for occasional travel within the South Shore of Montreal region. You must also be available outside regular working hours (for emergencies only).
