Position Summary
Location: 5005 Lapinière Blvd., Brossard, QC
We are currently seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to maintain our properties located in Brossard. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness, accessibility, and proper functioning of the buildings. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, structures, and related systems, as well as performing minor repairs and, upon request, carrying out work for tenants.

Main Responsibilities
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the premises
- Maintain exemplary cleanliness levels inside and outside the buildings;
- Ensure building security and accessibility for tenants, visitors, and suppliers (access cards);
- Perform minor repairs such as replacing light fixtures or defective parts; adjust heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems;
- Carry out and follow up on seasonal maintenance work;
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and repairing architectural elements of the buildings (doors, door handles, flooring, faucets, etc.);Notify the Property Manager of any irregularities or issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of the building’s electromechanical systems and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with suppliers;
- Inspect building roofs and drains and report any anomalies;
- Inspect various building components and identify issues, including plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, pumps, fire alarm panels, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, windows, signage, water valves, parking signage, and pavement condition;
- Assist with annual fire protection and sprinkler system inspections alongside the safety team and follow up on required corrective actions;
- Verify proper operation of the building automation systems (HVAC controls, camera systems, door access, lighting, and irrigation), ensure updates are completed, and contact external suppliers when required after consulting with your immediate supervisor.
Customer service
- Respond to service requests from office tenants, primarily related to comfort complaints, water leaks, door repairs, etc.;
Respond to commercial tenant requests for specific needs, such as waste removal.
Skills Profile and Required Qualifications
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- High School Diploma (DES) or Vocational Diploma (DEP) in a relevant field;
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in building maintenance with similar responsibilities;
- Knowledge of or interest in building electromechanical systems, including HVAC controls;
- Excellent verbal communication skills in French.
PERSONAL SKILLS

- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel on Montreal’s South Shore;
